It is rare to see a whisky this old from the famed Glenrothes distillery, let alone one drawn from a single cask and bottled at its natural proof.  It is even rarer to find it available at anywhere near this price.   The nose here may remind of a Bourbon, or at least splitting the difference between Bourbon and Scotch,
