Austria From the Winery: Oppenauer’s Grüner Veltliner is a bright and vibrant wine with pure aromatics and an energetic palate. Intense lemon color with green reflections, aromas of ripe apples with an herbal undertone and a broad, fruit-filled palate that leads into a lovely spicy finish. There is a little residual CO2 when the wine is first opened, though it quickly dissipates.
