Barrell Bourbon Batch 023 is a blend of10, 12 and 15-year-old barrels. We focused ona balance of richness and depth from the olderbarrels, while allowing the 10 and 12-year-oldbarrels to sing through with notes of bakedgoods and juiciness. The blend mingled for acouple of months to heighten the lushness andcomplexity. Finally, we methodically layeredin 15-year-old barrels to bring out notes oftropical fruit and angelica spice.
